Sixteen Foundation Limited
Investing in Education, Honoring a Legacy. We provide scholarships and resources to bright, needy students in Jamaica so no child is left behind.
Honoring a Legacy Through Education
The Sixteen Foundation Limited was the brainchild of Everett Kildare and other family members of the late Thelma Zenaida Ellis aka Sixteen, to honor her memory and efforts to serve her community.
It was her belief that education was the best means for our youth to overcome the struggles that her generation had to endure. To continue her years of service, the foundation provides scholarships to needy students seeking a secondary education, and educational supplies to students and schools.
How We Make a Difference
We remove barriers to education through two core programs that support both students and schools across Jamaica.
Scholarships for Students
We provide critical financial support and first-year scholarships to bright, needy students entering secondary school — covering tuition, uniforms, books, and supplies.
Support for Schools
We equip classrooms with essential technology and supplies — from computers, printers, and projectors to books, binders, pens, and pencils.
Lives Changed
The impact of education ripples through generations. Here are a few of the stories behind our mission.

Our mission is simple: to ensure that no bright mind is left behind due to a lack of resources. This was my grandmother's dream, and now it is our promise.Everett Kildare, Co-Founder
